Steel tooth bit:
Soft formation tooth bits:
The soft formations tooth bits are used to drill low compressive strength, soft formations. Long projection tooth lengths are used on high offset cones to provide the greatest penetrations rates possible. Wear resistance hard facing is used to control tooth wear. On the softest bit types this hard facing completely covers the bit teeth.
Medium hard formations tooth bits:
The medium hard formation tooth bits are used to drill high compressive strength, medium hard formations. Shoot projection teeth with reduced crest length are used in this series of bit designs. Durable hard facing is applied to reduce tooth wear.
Description of drill bit:
1)This series tricone bit use Sealed roller bearing structure. With rollers arranged in grooves recessed in the cone body, the size of the bearing journal is increased.
2)Surface of the high precision bearing heat treated by using advanced heat treatment process to improve the load capacity and service life of the bearing.
3)Preventing reflux structure has dual function, it can avoid air counterflow and dust entering into bearing when the air-compressor stop working accidentally, and separate air and water in order to avoid water entering into bearing when it works normally to prolong the life of bearing.
4)The bit bearing can be ball locked.
5)High precision bearing with two thrust faces. Balls lock the cone. Hardface heard bearing surface. Cone bearing inlaid with friction-reducing alloy and then silver-plated. Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are improved and suitable for high rotary speed.
